Editorial Policy
StopAlzheimerNow exists to make it easier to keep up with a fast-moving field. New findings on Alzheimer's disease and dementia are published daily, scattered across university press offices, medical journals, and science news outlets. We scan the most active of these sources every day, and bring the headlines that matter into one place.
What we publish
Every entry on this site is a short, plain-language summary of an article that first appeared elsewhere. We do not conduct original research, and we do not independently verify the underlying studies beyond what the original publisher reports. Our summaries are a starting point, not a replacement for the full article — each one links directly to the original source, and we encourage readers to follow that link for complete methodology, author affiliations, and context.
How stories are selected
Articles are gathered automatically from a fixed list of sources (see Our Sources) on a daily schedule. We do not accept payment, sponsorship, or submissions in exchange for coverage of a particular study, product, or organization. Inclusion on this site reflects that a source published the article — it is not an endorsement of the study's conclusions or the organization behind it.
Independence
StopAlzheimerNow is editorially independent. The site is supported by advertising, not by pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, or any organization covered in our articles. No advertiser has ever reviewed or influenced the selection or wording of an article summary.
Accuracy and corrections
Summaries are generated with the help of automated tools and reviewed for clarity and accuracy. If you believe a summary misrepresents its source, or if a link is broken or outdated, please contact us with the article title or URL. We correct factual errors as soon as they're confirmed.
What this site is not
StopAlzheimerNow is a news and information resource. It is not a medical provider, and nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Decisions about symptoms, diagnosis, or treatment should always be made with a qualified healthcare professional. See our Medical Disclaimer for more detail.
